Dundee Township Historical Museum to host 'Historically Haunted Car Show' Oct. 30

The Dundee Township Historical Society Museum will host a "Historically Haunted Car Show" on Sunday, Oct. 30.

Dust off the cob webs and polish the chrome for a spooky car show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the museum, 426 Highland Ave. in West Dundee.

Cost is $20 per car. There will be dash plaques for the first 50 cars, and trophies for cars, 25 years or older, in the following categories: best car by the decade, best of show, spookiest car, and best Halloween costume.

It is free for spectators. Concessions will be available, cash only.

Check out the museum's exhibit "Windows and More," as well as other exhibits highlighting the history of Dundee Township.

The museum is open from March through December; closed for holidays. It is open 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesdays and Sundays; the research library is open on Wednesdays.

Admission is free; suggested donation is $2 per person.
