'Wheaton Gives Back' with coat drive for People's Resource Center

Downtown Wheaton businesses are collecting winter coats for the People's Resource Center, a nonprofit organization that serves 3,000 households each month through a food pantry.

The Wheaton Community Relations Commission is partnering with the Downtown Wheaton Association on "Wheaton Gives Back," an initiative inviting residents to help neighbors in need.

Throughout October, people can drop off new or gently used winter clothing - hats, scarves, gloves, coats - in donation boxes across downtown Wheaton.

Drop-off locations include Adelle's, Alphagraphics, Barcacao Chocolat, Edward Jones, DuPage Art League, Egg'lectic Cafe, Extract Juicery, Gary United Methodist Church, Jeans and a Cute Top Shop, Jerry Evans School of Music, Marquiz Salon & Spa, Midwest Cyclery Wheaton, MilaGrace Boutique, MOORE Toys & Gadgets, Pedego Electric Bikes, Studio 209 Salon and Spa, Wheaton Garden Works, Wheaton Mulch Inc. and the Wheaton Public Library.
