Chicagoland Hooters Participates in 15th Annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk
Twenty employees from the Chicagoland area Hooters locations participated in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of South Suburban Walk in Orland Park on October 9. Staff, managers, and corporate members of the Chicagoland Hooters locations came together for the inspirational 2.2-mile walk that unites us in the fight against breast cancer.
“A BIG THANKS to Hooters (HMC Hospitality Group) for partnering with the American Cancer Society to sponsor the Water Station at the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of South Suburban. Thank you for your support and passion for helping the American Cancer Society fight breast cancer, help families and celebrate breast cancer survivors and thrivers. It was great to see so many Hooters' employees come out to support the Strides event to make an impact in the lives of those impacted by breast cancer,” said Sr. Development Manager, American Cancer Society, Inc, Michelle Pruitt.
“Raising funds and awareness to save more lives from breast cancer and to celebrate breast cancer survivors and thrivers is a very important cause for our team at Hooters,” said HMC Hospitality Group Chief Marketing Officer Denise Williams.
To date, the Making Strides of South Suburban has raised $170,000 with the help of over 1,360 registered participants, survivors, thrivers, caregivers and corporate sponsors. For more information, please visit www.makingstrideswalk.org/southsuburban.
