Grace Lutheran's fall rummage sale returns for 2nd weekend

Due to the overwhelming donations from members' homes, estate sales and others who are downsizing, Grace Lutheran Church of Lily Lake is hosting a second weekend of its Fall Rummage Sale.

It will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct 15, at the church, 5N600 Hanson Road.

There are many household items, furniture, a large selection of seasonal decorations (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas), costume jewelry, linens, blankets, children's games and toys, books for all ages, some tools, and garage/outdoor items.

There will be a "half-price" sale of most items, including furniture, starting at noon on Saturday. Many items are $1.

Proceeds will help the church's building maintenance repair fund.

Head out to western St. Charles to find your treasure. The church is off just off Empire Road, near the crossroads of Routes 64 and 47. Look for the red/white/blue signs. Drive down to the lower level behind church; use the double door entrance of the church.
