Chamber/Village Partnership Helps Shoppers 'Find It in Northbrook'

Just in time for the upcoming holiday season, the Northbrook Chamber of Commerce & Industry has unveiled new branding for its Shop Local partnership with the Village of Northbrook. The new "Find It in Northbrook: Discover 60062" campaign uses a fresh graphic and bold colors, encouraging residents and visitors to find all the retail, restaurant, and service options they need in Northbrook.

Plans for a new "shop local" brand began in late 2021, as the Village and Chamber worked together on updates for the Northbrook Shopping Elf social media campaign, the Live Shop Dine Northbrook website, and the Northbrook text marketing program. The update brings together the partnership' shop local efforts under a single highly recognizable brand.

Graphics were selected for their versatility, clean design, and appeal to a range of age groups. A quartet of options combining two potential taglines and two graphics were presented to the public at the Chamber's open house in September, where guests were asked to vote for their favorite: feedback from visitors reflected a clear winner.

"We're excited to launch this new branding that will position Northbrook's business community as one where you can find and discover whatever you need," commented Kathi Quinn, Chamber Executive Director. "Northbrook is a destination with a terrific variety of shops, restaurants, and other businesses; it's our strength. 'Find It in Northbrook' emphasizes that whatever you need - fine dining, family fun, luxury brands, great bargains, and services - can be discovered here as well."

The Find It in Northbrook branding has replaced the previous Northbrook Shopping Elf pages on Facebook and Instagram. Those platforms share product features, event announcements, and other news from a wide array of Northbrook businesses.

"Having my store featured on Find It in Northbrook helps promote la de da! to a wider audience, especially during the holidays.
