Ms. Illinois 2022 crowned

Dr. Antonella Scarpiello of Schaumburg, IL, has recently been awarded the Ms. Illinois 2022 title by the Ms. America® Pageant.

The Mission of the pageant is to celebrate the accomplishments of women, encourage them to be involved in community service, as well as use the "Crown for a Purpose" to make a difference.

The pageant is open to women 26 years of age and up who are single, divorced or married. The selection process for receiving a title was done by submitting an application, photo and followed up by an interview over the phone. 32 finalists from across the United States will compete in interview, sportswear, evening gown and on-stage interview. "Dr. Antonella Scarpiello really left a positive impression on our judges, and we are thrilled to have her representing Illinois at the 2022 Ms. America Pageant finals this October," said Susan Jeske Irvine, Pageant CEO.

Dr. Scarpiello holds a Ph.D. in Instructional Technology and Multimedia Design. She enjoys creating videos and 3D animations to educate the community about animal welfare. She has experience working as a print model. She loves horse riding, hiking, acting, dancing, and spending time with her human and furry friends. Her Platform in the pageant is "Save a Life - Make a Friend."

The Ms. America Pageant will be held on October 29, 2022 at the Curtis Theater in Brea, California.

Red Carpet starts at 6:30 pm and the pageant starts at 7:30 pm.
