The Halloween Hustle 5K and Kids Dash is back for another year of ghoulish fun! Get your best costume dusted off and be there for a spell on Saturday, October 29 at 345 N. Eric Drive in Palatine - just north of the intersection at Colfax Street. The Kids Dash begins at 8:30 a.m., followed by the 5K at 9 a.m. Runners, walkers and those with babes in strollers are all welcome to participate! Special discounted pricing is available for registration, now through September 30 at halloweenhustle.com.

A portion of the race proceeds will benefit Fathers Helping Fathers (FHF), a national not-for-profit organization that encourages strong relationships between dads and their kids and raises awareness about the positive influence fathers have on the development of our youth. FHF provides educational classes and programs that help fathers in every aspect of being a parent - from pre-birth classes to toddler training to dealing with teenagers.

"The Halloween Hustle is a long-standing event meant to bring the local community together," said Adrenaline Special Events founder, Aaron Del Mar. "Everyone is welcome to participate in this family-friendly, holiday event to create lasting memories with friends and loved ones."

All adult registrations include a long sleeve dri-fit shirt, a bootiful finisher medal, a race timing bib and a free beverage at the after party. Kids Dash participants receive a race bib, finisher medal, a pumpkin and kids' shirt. If you can't make this event live, participate in the virtual Halloween Hustle from anywhere! Virtual participants will receive a Halloween Hustle shirt, medal, and additional fun swag delivered right to your door. If you do participate virtually, be sure to wear a costume so you can enter the costume contest!

This fang-tastic event concludes with an after party at Tap House Grill, 56 W. Wilson Street in downtown Palatine, where participants can eat, drink and be scary! It will also include an awards ceremony at 10 a.m. for the best costume and top overall finishers in each age group.
