Support area seniors at a Topgolf fundraiser

Calling all golfers! Support the programs and services of the Palatine Township Senior Center at the Topgolf fundraiser from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 2, at Topgolf, 2050 Progress Parkway in Schaumburg.

Tickets are sold as a bay with four, five or six golfers. ($75 per person).

Your ticket entitles you to three hours of high-tech golf where your microchipped golf balls will measure accuracy and distance, as well as a served buffet with lemonade and soft drinks. There will also be an optional live event leaderboard with competitions and prizes.

Raffle tickets will be available for purchase for several raffle baskets including restaurant gift cards, theater vouchers, fall items and more provided by community partners.

Tickets are available online through Friday, Sept. 23, at www.ptscc.org and at the Palatine Township Senior Center, 505 S. Quentin Road, Palatine.

Fundraising is critical to continue to provide the necessary programs and social services to older adults in the area.

The Palatine Township Senior Citizens Council provides programs and services that support older adults and their families by encouraging independence, well-being and connection to the community.

The Recreation, Education, Health and Wellness, Noon Dining, Home Delivered Meals, Adult Day Services, and Social Services programs are available to persons 50 and older and their families who live in Palatine Township and the surrounding communities in the North and Northwest suburbs.

Services are available in English, Spanish and Russian at five satellite locations.
