Mundelein park hosts free showing of 'Harry Potter' movie Oct. 1
The Mundelein Park and Recreation District will host a free outdoor showing of "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" on Oct. 1.
But there'll be more to the event than the movie. Attendees can learn how to make potions, pet snakes, play Quidditch and more.
Activities will run from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Dunbar Recreation Center, 888 Dunbar Road. The movie will start about 7 p.m.
People should bring their own blankets or chairs. Food trucks will be on site.
