Play games, drink beer at Oktoberfest Sept. 23-24 in Libertyville

Oktoberfest is coming to Libertyville from 5-11 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23, and 1-6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, in Mickey Finn's back lot, 345 N. Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville.

VIP ticket holders will get early entry at 4 p.m. Friday and noon Saturday

Enjoy live music while sampling a selection of local brews, along with pretzels and traditional Bavarian bier, and sports like Hammerschlagen or Masskrugstemmen.

Collect one-of-kind memorabilia, participate in a best dressed contest (dirndl and lederhosen) honoring Steve Stromberg, or just relax with neighbors and friends. Tickets and sponsorships are now available.

General admission tickets come with a plastic stein and one free beer ticket.

VIP tickets get entry an hour earlier than general admission, an extra beer ticket and a commemorative glass stein.
