One woman sent to hospital after Schaumburg collision

One woman was taken to the hospital Wednesday after a rear end collision in Schaumburg, according to the fire department.

At 1:30 p.m., Schaumburg firefighters responded to a crash on the intersection of Golf and Plum Grove roads.

Authorities said one driver rear ended another driver at the intersection, causing minor damage.

One woman was transported to Alexian Brothers Hospital for evaluation of minor injuries. Another woman was evaluated but refused transport.

The crash is still under investigation.
