Country artist Chris Stapleton takes the stage at Wrigley Field this weekend highlighting his latest album, “Starting Over,” which nabbed three Grammy nods at the 67th annual awards show in 2020. He'll be joined on his “All American Road Show Tour” stop by special guests The Highwomen — Brandi Carlile, Maren Morris, Amanda Shires and Natalie Hemby — as well as featured performers Mavis Staples and Mike Campbell & The Dirty Knobs. This concert was rescheduled from 2021, so tickets for the original show will be honored.

‘Better With' Friday Pilots Club
After dropping the recent single “Hot Mess,” Chicago rock band Friday Pilots Club heads back to town with some new music to share. Friday, they hit the Epiphany Center for the Arts for an intimate listening session of the new single “Better With” a week before it comes out, followed by an acoustic set, stories and a chance to meet the guys. A Golden Hour (starting at 5 p.m.) precedes the show, with light bites and drink specials available before the performance.

Feels Fest at WC Social
This weekend, WC Social Club presents Feels Fest 2022, bringing together stars of the Chicago area's metal, pop-punk and rock scenes for one night of awesome, high-energy tunes. Catch Erabella, TANZEN and Tiny Kingdoms, along with Fools' Brew, Nightspice, LOWCOUNTRY and The Neverafter as they channel the music of bands such as Story of the Year, Taking Back Sunday, Underoath and more.

Two shots with Nora Marks
With thoughtful lyrics driven by a fiery intensity, Nora Marks turns every show into a raucous party. Along with being just so dang fun, the group is one of the most kind and supportive acts exploding on the Chicago-area indie scene today, and they've earned all the love they've been getting. This week, fans of the punk band can see them play twice. On Saturday, they join the lineup for the two-day Shred Your Standards 2 music and skating community party at Logan Boulevard Skate Park, along with Ax and the Hatchetmen, La Rosa Noir, North by North and Totally Cashed. (Sunday's lineup includes Modern Losers, Scumbag Skippy, We Weren't Invited and hhunter.) If you can't catch that, the punk band also headlines an underground show at Chicago's Book Club Monday with Blue Car and Dad Hat.

McDermott and Horton for Mercy Home
Chicago musical duo singer-songwriter Michael McDermott and fiddle aficionado Heather Lynne Horton share the stage for a gritty and folk-infused rock performance this weekend to raise funds for Mercy Home for Boys and Girls. Proceeds from the concert and silent auction will benefit the Chicago-based charity dedicated to providing shelter, food and clothing to children in need.

Crooner Tony Ocean at Club Arcada

Michael C. Hall's Princess plays Metro
With a flourish of electronica piercing through its glam-rock, synthy stratum, Golden Globe-winning actor Michael C. Hall's (“Dexter,” “Six Feet Under”) Princess Goes To the Butterfly Museum busts in on Chicago this weekend. Together with Matt Katz-Bohen (Blondie) and Peter Yanowitz (The Wallflowers, Natalie Merchant), the trio brings an eerie and theatrical vibe to the Metro, along with supporting act Man On Man.
