There's still time to get your Rubber Ducky Race tickets!

Do you like money and helping worthy nonprofits? If so, there's still time to grab your Rubber Ducky Race tickets for a chance to win $1,000 - but you have to get them by noon Tuesday, July 19.

Sponsor a Quack-Pack of 5 Ducks for $25, one "Lucky Duck" for $10 or a flock of 15 for $100. Prizes are $1,000, $500, $250 in cash, and tickets are available online using the link on the club website: northbrookrotary.org or at go.rallyup.com/northbrookducks2022/Campaign/Details.

The annual Ducky race, which was rescheduled, is now set for 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, July 19, at the Village Green in Northbrook.

In addition to providing an annual family fun tradition, the yearly Rubber Ducky Race is one of the fundraisers that supports local grants! This is an opportunity to teach children about being good citizens and how a small donation can have a big impact. Plus they get to see the ducks race!

Grants ranging from $500 to $2,500 - totaling about $42,000 - were awarded previously to a number of local non-profit organizations including Youth Services of Glenview/Northbrook; The Northfield Township Food Pantry; Hunger Resource Network; Outreach/Feed 6; Cancer Wellness Center; Friendship Circle Of Illinois; North Suburban YMCA; Keshet; Rainbow Hospice and Palliative Care; Northbrook Symphony Orchestra; Josselyn Center; Northbrook Historical Society; Special Gifts Theater; Total Link 2 Community; Glenbrook North High School Grad Night; Center For Enriched Living; Center On Deafness; Northbrook Community Nursery School; Family Promise Chicago; Gratitude Generation; Community Vocational Scholarships.

• The Rotary Club of Northbrook believes in "Service Above Self" and focuses its efforts to help fund annual community grants programs, scholarships, and global initiatives that support that mission.
