South Elgin High School place 4th overall in 2022 Chicago Bears Nike 11-On Tournament
The Chicago Bears hosted their third annual official Nike 11-on-11 Competition on Wednesday and Thursday, June 29-30, which featured 16 local high school teams in a tournament and skills challenge for individual players at Fenton High School.
The skills challenges included a QB Throwing & Accuracy Challenge and multiple lineman challenges. The Bears also held a panel discussion featuring staff members to speak to the group about careers in the sports industry.
This year, South Elgin High School football team of South Elgin placed 4th overall in the Nike 11-On tournament out of the 16 high schools that participated and were awarded $1,000 by the Bears to fund their football program.
