Roselle Road in Schaumburg briefly closed after crashes

Roselle Road in Schaumburg was briefly closed in both directions Wednesday evening due to two minor crashes.

According to Schaumburg Police, two unrelated crashes ended up blocking southbound and northbound traffic along Roselle Road around Beech Drive shortly after 5 p.m.

"They were just minor traffic accidents," said Schaumburg police Sgt. Denis Schmitt. "No one got transported to the hospital, and we closed the roadways just for the towing purposes."

According to Schmitt, Roselle Road was reopened after about 25 minutes.
