American Association of University Women book sale will return to Wheaton

After a two-year hiatus, the annual book sale by the American Association of University Women-Wheaton-Glen Ellyn is returning on June 23-25.

It will take place from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday, June 23-24, and 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 25, in the air-conditioned gym at Briar Glen Elementary School, 1800 Briarcliff Blvd. in Wheaton.

The sale will feature fiction, including science fiction, mystery, romance, classics, and popular books; nonfiction, including history, politics, biographies and autobiographies; young adult books; and children's books. On Saturday, there will be a $10 a bag sale.

For more than 50 years, the branch has raised more than $10,000 per year to fund scholarships for four local high school girls.
