Schaumburg Community Blood Drive set for June 8

Schaumburg will host its next Community Blood Drive from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 8, at The Barn, 231 S. Civic Drive in Schaumburg.

Interested blood donor participants should call (877) 25VITAL (1-877-258-4825) or register online at www.vitalant.org and use sponsor code ORD0SH98. Appointments are highly recommended to reduce wait times, walk-ins are welcome.

All participants must wear a face covering at the event. If you are feeling unwell, please stay home.

Participating donors will receive either a Culver's Give a Pint, Get a Pint coupon or a coupon for one large, one topping pizza from Papa John's. All donors will also be entered into a drawing for a chance to win one of four $25 Panera gift cards.

Schaumburg partners with Vitalant to offer five blood drives a year for the community to help with blood donation. For more information about the village's community blood drives, visit www.schaumburg.com/blooddrives, dial 311 in the village, or call the Nursing Division at (847) 923-3766.
