Greene Road in Lisle to close for culvert replacement

The Lisle Township Road District has scheduled a closure of Greene Road next week for culvert replacement.

The closure between Hobson Road and 75th Street, weather permitting, will start at 7 a.m. Tuesday and last until 5 p.m. June 8.

The culverts will be replaced north of the entrance to Green Valley Forest Preserve and the Greene Valley Dog Park. Visitors to the forest preserve, dog park and the Woods of Hobson Green can access the facilities from the south.

Residents living on Kimberwick Lane and patrons of the Greene Barn can use Greene Road from Hobson Road.
