Mount Prospect Library Announces Summer Reading Program: Read Beyond the Beaten Path

Embark on a journey with summer reading and let your curiosity bring you beyond the beaten path. The all-ages summer reading program takes place June 1-August 15. Visit the Main Library, South Branch or sign up online to get started, then track your reading and check in for prizes.

Children can count their days read or days someone reads to them to earn prizes and a chance to win a Grand Prize awarded on July 31. Teens are invited to join Team Hedgehog or Team Rabbit to compete and earn prizes. Adults can choose any books to read, including fiction, nonfiction, graphic novels, young adult books, Playaways, audiobooks, e-books, and e-audio. Keep track of minutes read and check in for prizes and a chance to enter a grand prize drawing.
