One dead in West Chicago crash

One person is dead after two-vehicle crash Friday afternoon in West Chicago.

West Chicago police released a Facebook post saying officers responded to the crash on Prince Crossing Road just before 2 p.m.

Both drivers were taken to a nearby hospital, where one of the drivers died.

The roadway was shut down for a few hours during the course of the investigation, police said.

Police said they had no additional information Friday evening.
