OLPH Diaper Drive another success

As they do every year, the diapers rolled in to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Glenview.

The OLPH Women's Club Guild 35 annual Diaper Drive in March collected more than 17,000 diapers.

They were donated "thanks to the overwhelming generosity" of OLPH parishioners and residents in Glenview and surrounding villages, said Katie Santucci, co-chair of the Diaper Drive with Gretchen Conlon.

Guild 35 will distribute the diapers to a variety of places, including to families through the OLPH Parish and the church's four sharing parishes in Chicago: Saint Philip Neri, Our Lady of Tepeyac, Saint James and Saint Sabina.

They also will be distributed to the Maryville Crisis Nursery, Catholic Charities and the Women's Centers of Greater Chicagoland, Santucci said.
