Climatologist Keith scheduled to speak at North Central College

Acclaimed climatologist Dr. David W. Keith will deliver the keynote address Thursday at North Central College's 24th annual Rall Symposium for Undergraduate Research.

The event, which showcases scholarly work and presentations from undergraduate researchers of all majors, begins with the keynote address at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, in the Wentz Concert Hall in Naperville. The event is free and open to the public.

Keith, an authority on climate science, led the development of Harvard University's Solar Geoengineering Research Program. For his work, Keith was presented a medal at the 2013 Diamond Jubilee celebration for Queen Elizabeth II, and was named one of Time magazine's "Heroes of the environment."
