Bloomingdale Area Women in Business offers scholarship

Bloomingdale Area Women in Business has scholarships available for an adult female looking to improve herself professionally through continued education or professional development.

A $1,000 scholarship is to be awarded to a Bloomingdale-area resident or employee aged 20 or over. Applications must be submitted and received by April 29.

The scholarships are supported by the generosity of Embolden Wealth Management, Neil Mosciki of Wintrust Wealth Management, Cornerstone Community Church and the Bloomingdale Chamber of Commerce.

Bloomingdale Area Women in Business will hold a Derby Day Party to help fundraise for its scholarship fund from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 5, at 485 W. Army Trail Road, Bloomingdale. Tickets are $25.
