Palatine Lions Club and Palatine Township Co-Hosting FREE Textile Recycling Event April 9th

The Palatine Lions Club and Palatine Township are beginning on April 9th their annual FREE environmental collection events for 2022. The Textile Recycling Event will be the first of two this year (2nd scheduled for October 15th) followed by Shredding Events (May 7th & September 17th) and an Electronics Event scheduled for June 18th.

The Palatine Lions Club began their partnership with Palatine Township in 2011 when the first Electronics Recycling took place. Since that time over 25 environmental Events have taken place whereby thousands of pounds of electronics, paper and textiles were recycled and rescued from ending up in landfills.

The Lions Club will also be hosting its 34th Annual Palatine Lions Club/Tom Dorsch Memorial Golf Outing that will take place at Palatine Hills on Wednesday, August 10th.
