Bears sign fullback Khari Blasingame

The Bears signed 25-year-old fullback Khari Blasingame on Tuesday. He spent the past three seasons with the Tennessee Titans.

The deal is a one-year contract, according to the Bears.

Blasingame appeared in 32 games in three seasons in Tennessee, making 13 starts. He contributed on both offense and special teams.

He touched the ball infrequently on offense with three carries for 6 yards and 10 receptions for 97 yards.

The Bears did not typically use a fullback under former head coach Matt Nagy. Former fullback Michael Burton played for the Bears during Nagy's first season in 2018.

Since Burton left in free agency the following offseason, the Bears haven't regularly had a fullback on the 53-man roster.
