April Future Stars Event at Arlington Heights' House of Music and Entertainment

Future Stars is back for more family-friendly musical entertainment in an atmosphere that encourages young singers and bands to showcase their talents on stage. The upcoming event will take place at the House of Music and Entertainment (H.O.M.E.) at 1227 N. Rand Road in Arlington Heights on Sunday, April 3 from 4-7 p.m. Tickets are limited and can be purchased on the event website at FutureStars.Live.

Future Stars kicked off last fall at Durty Nellie's and aims to encourage young performers to get in front of an audience to continue to hone their craft. The performers at the upcoming event - all from the Northwest suburbs - will include 16-year-old Madeline O'Dell, a singer/songwriter whose style is inspired by genres including pop, jazz, R&B and folk, and Indy/Pop artist Jagger, 17, who performs hits from the 60s and 70s, and who recently released two singles, "I Go Crazy" and "The Sixties." The event's headliner will be the Voodoo Dolls, a band of three young women, including Brooklyn (15) and Jen (16) who share duties on guitar and bass, and offer a mix of soul-filled vocal solos and harmonies, while Margaret (16) keeps the time utilizing a wide range of percussion instruments.

Madeline will be making her debut with Future Stars, while Jagger and the Voodoo Dolls were invited back to perform after being extremely well-received by audiences.

"We are so excited to have the Future Stars rock our stage here at the H.O.M.E.," said Kevin Hampton, H.O.M.E. operations manager. "We are looking forward to this event and invite everyone to come out and cheer these young ladies on."

This is the third Future Stars event since it was co-created by co-emcees Melanie Santostefano, founder and president of Chicagoland marketing and public relations firm, Vicarious Multimedia, and Jason Stallard, the founder of Love Local Off 53, a community-building brand that highlights Northwest suburban businesses/organizations through videos and podcasts.

Future Stars is seeking demo submissions for future events! Singers or bands (up to age 18/senior in high school) can submit a demo and go through a vetting process and be invited to perform at a future event. Entertainers can be invited back to perform based on overall performance and crowd response. Future Stars provides professional promotion, marketing and public relations to highlight young talents, and help them gain experience through live performances.
