Construction resuming at Meacham and Algonquin roads in Schaumburg

Work is resuming this week on infrastructure upgrades at the intersection of Meacham and Algonquin roads in Schaumburg, leading to lane closures and construction activity in the area.

Crews will continue with storm sewer installation at the southeast corner. The work will then move to the east side of Meacham both north and south of Algonquin.

Major lane closures are not anticipated, but daily single lane closures between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. may still occur to provide safer access and loading for trucks. Drivers should watch for trucks and equipment moving in and out of the closed lanes.
