Blackhawks put goalie Lankinen on IR
The Blackhawks placed goalie Kevin Lankinen on injured reserve with a right hand injury and called up Arvid Soderblom from the Rockford IceHogs. Lankinen made 40 saves during a 4-3 overtime loss at Minnesota on Saturday. The Hawks, who play at Colorado on Monday, were off Sunday. Soderblom has played in 2 NHL games this season, relieving Colin Delia in Nashville on Jan. 1 and allowing 4 goals in a 4-3 loss to Calgary the next night.
