State of the Village goes remote
Initially scheduled as an in-person presentation, Northbrook's annual State of the Village address will be delivered virtually.
Village President Kathryn Ciesla will look back on 2021 and forward to 2022 from 11:45 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Jan. 26.
This is Ciesla's first State of the Village, having won the consolidated election on April 6 after 12 years as a Northbrook trustee.
She'll provide community updates and a summary of the village's goals for 2022. Topics Ciesla may light on include the village's response to and recovery from the pandemic, infrastructure investments, potential large-scale developments, community events and economic development.
She may also detail the village's new Climate Action Plan and offer suggestions on how businesses can get involved with sustainability initiatives.
Registration to Village President Ciesla's State of the Village address is free for members and nonmembers alike at the Northbrook Chamber of Commerce Industry website, northbrookchamber.org.
