Schaumburg accepting nominations for Al Larson Environmental Awards

The Schaumburg Environmental Committee is accepting applications for the Al Larson Environmental Awards through Feb. 11.

Residents and businesses can apply in categories include energy efficiency, renewable energy, conservation of natural resources, recycling programs, green product use, water conservation, transportation, or outreach and education.

The awards are among Schaumburg's Comprehensive Green Action Plan goals to advance sustainability throughout the community.
