Letter: Let's remember we're in COVID-19 fight together

I don't know what reasons there are for not getting vaccinated, unless you are allergic or have some medical condition.

Remember how we got rid of polio in this country: vaccines.

To get rid of this virus. We have to stop its spread.

And we know what we have to do - vaccines, masks and washing

hands (not touching your eyes or nose or mouth, unless your hands

are clean). We can't be with unmasked people, especially the

unvaccinated, within six feet, for 15 minutes (or a total of 15 minutes

through out the day).

It is a respiratory disease. It's in the droplets of our breath and sneezes and coughs. If you don't believe this information, ask your doctor. Don't rely on Facebook or your friends.

And you can get vaccines in Cook or DuPage County without

a driver's license or insurance. Illinois wants you to get vaccinated.

Find locations by Googling vaccines and your county.

If you don't think you need to worry about it for yourself, do it for your neighbor, your community, your parents, grandparents, friends. We are in this together. We can't do it alone.
