DuPage County Board approves transportation plan

DuPage County Board members recently approved a long-range plan to guide the county's transportation investments through 2040.

The transportation plan, known as DuPage Connects, will govern transportation policies and practices at the county for the next 20 years. The $1.6 billion plan creates a vision and mission for the DuPage County Division of Transportation, serving as a guide for infrastructure maintenance, operations and capital projects. During the development of DuPage Connects, the county provided several opportunities for the public to offer input and received more than 700 comments. Those comments are incorporated into the final plan which can be found at dupageco.org/transplan.
