Robinson, Montgomery both expected to play against Packers

Bears wide receiver Allen Robinson and running back David Montgomery are both expected to play Sunday against the Green Bay Packers. The Bears offense should be nearly at full strength, health-wise.

Robinson (hamstring) and Montgomery (shoulder, glute, groin) were both full participants in practice Friday. Robinson hasn't played since a Nov. 8 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Montgomery missed one day of practice this week but made a quick return.

Defensive tackle Akiem Hicks (ankle) was also a full participant in practice Friday, but is listed as questionable for Sunday's game. Hicks hasn't played since Nov. 8. Defensive end Mario Edwards (ribs) is also questionable.

Quarterback Andy Dalton (left hand) is listed as doubtful, as is receiver Marquise Goodwin (foot). Dalton injured his hand last week against the Arizona Cardinals but played through the injury and finished the game. Goodwin missed last week's game and did not practice Thursday or Friday this week.

Starting quarterback Justin Fields was a full participant in practice all week and is expected to start Sunday's game after missing two consecutive games with a rib injury. Outside linebacker Trevis Gipson, defensive back Teez Tabor and kicker Cairo Santos each missed practice time this week due to non-COVID-19 illnesses, but are expected to play.
