Lego train show brings holiday cheer to Cantigny
Cantigny Park's Visitor Center was transformed into a Lego lover's dream this weekend as the Northern Illinois Lego Train Club hosted its annual train show at the historic Wheaton location.
The two-day show, the group's largest event every year in terms of both display space and attendance, has become a holiday tradition at Cantigny, drawing hundreds to see the massive and innovative displays of Lego cityscapes.
The show also served as a benefit for the U.S. Marine Corps' Toys for Tots. Visitors to the show were encouraged to bring new and unwrapped toys for drop boxes at Cantigny.
"I love everything about this, but the best is when the train first starts moving," said Mylan Harris, a member of the Northern Illinois Lego Train Club, during the club's annual Holiday Train Show at Cantigny in Wheaton on Sunday.

In addition to all the trains, dozens of movie scenes were reproduced over the weekend during the Northern Illinois Lego Train Club's annual Holiday Train Show at Cantigny in Wheaton.
