Here's how Schaumburg residents can get Santa to visit their neighborhood

The Schaumburg police and fire departments will be escorting Santa Claus through 10 village neighborhoods from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 12.

Residents who'd like Santa to come through their neighborhood can make that request by sending their name, phone number, email and mailing address to police Crime Prevention Specialist Paula Diaz at pdiaz@schaumburg.com by 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3.

All requests will be entered into a random drawing for a chance to receive a neighborhood Santa visit. Winning neighborhoods will be notified by Wednesday, Dec. 8.
