Status of Fields, Hicks, Robinson in doubt as Bears turn attention to Lions
While the health of the starting quarterback remains the biggest injury concern for the Bears, it's far from their only concern.
The team faces a quick turnaround with a game against the Detroit Lions at 11:30 a.m. Thanksgiving Day.
The Bears did not dress for a full practice Monday, instead opting for a walk-through to give the players time to heal. The team, however, was required to release an injury report based on the best estimates of how the players were feeling Monday.
Had the Bears practiced, quarterback Justin Fields (ribs), receiver Allen Robinson (hamstring), defensive tackle Akiem Hicks (ankle), defensive back Duke Shelley (hamstring) and running back Damien Williams (calf) all would've sat out.
Safety Eddie Jackson (hamstring) and receiver Darnell Mooney (foot) would've been limited. Defensive end Mario Edwards Jr. (ribs), safety Tashaun Gipson (chest) and receiver Marquise Goodwin (shoulder) are nursing injuries, but would've been full participants.
Fields' status ahead of Thursday's game is in doubt after the rookie suffered a rib injury in the third quarter Sunday. Veteran quarterback Andy Dalton finished the game, throwing for 201 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Bears coach Matt Nagy said Monday that he had no update on Fields' status.
Hicks and Robinson both sat out Sunday's game against Baltimore. Both players last played during the Bears' loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers Nov. 8.
