Authorities release name of McHenry fire victim
The McHenry County coroner's office on Wednesday identified the McHenry man who died in a fire inside his apartment last week.
Larry R. Branklin, 77, died in his apartment Nov. 4 after accidentally setting himself on fire while trying to light a cigarette, authorities said. The fire was ruled an accident.
