ECC celebrates International Education Week with virtual and in-person events and activities

Each fall, Elgin Community College celebrates International Week, a showcase of the cultures, history, food, and more of ECC's international students, faculty, and staff.

This year, ECC's International Education Week will take place both in-person and virtually from Nov. 15-19, with daily events and activities for all to enjoy.

The public is welcome to attend. Masks are required on campus and social distancing remains in effect.

All International Week content will be posted on the ECC Student Life Facebook page at www.facebook.com/StudentLifeECC.

Each day of the week will focus on honoring and learning more about a different area of the world.

International Education Week events include the following:

• International Week welcome reception and musical performances from 11 a.m. to noon Monday, Nov. 15, in Building B, Jobe Lounge or the Student Life YouTube livestream.
