Donald Van Cleave (July 4, 1932 – September 2, 2021) was an amazing individual who helped so many in our community. He was a tireless and unassuming advocate for charitable causes. In addition to the many organizations he devoted himself to, he served for 28 years as a volunteer at Palatine Township helping with outreach programs and Food Pantry.

Don's big smile, love of community and his generosity was known to all who knew him. He will truly be missed by all in our community. We honor this very special citizen, his life and what he represents to community and philanthropy.
