St. Hugh's 'Tea & Treasures' sale returns Oct. 15-16

St. Hugh of Lincoln Episcopal Church, 36W957 Highland Ave in Elgin, is hosting its "Tea & Treasures" fall fundraiser from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 15, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16.

The annual event features tables of vintage, retro and collectible items as well as linens, holiday decor, jewelry, framed art and handcrafted gifts.

A Tea Bar offers shoppers complimentary hot tea and fresh cookies.

Visit the Bargain Tables for books, CDS, games, glassware, etc., or browse the Craft Corner for practical household, infant and accessory items handmade by parishioners.

As a special addition this year, on Saturday from 10 a.m. until noon, Sharpening by Dave will be stationed in the parking lot and visitors can have their knives, scissors and garden tools sharpened while they shop.

Credit cards are welcome and proceeds benefit a variety of ministries both local and global.

The church is located at southeast corner of Randall Road and Highland Avenue.
