Schaumburg Hooters building sells for $4 million

SCHAUMBURG - A commercial real estate broker said it recently facilitated the sale of the Schaumburg Hooters restaurant for $4.05 million.

The 5,127-square-foot leased building sits on 1.25 acres at 1110 Perimeter Drive in Schaumburg, directly in front of Woodfield Mall, the state's largest shopping center.

Marcus & Millichap, a commercial real estate brokerage firm specializing in investment sales, financing, research and advisory services, announced the sale. Edward Romo, Giovanni Gaviria and Scott Sandelin of the Sandelin Group of Marcus & Millichap's Miami office had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, a limited liability company. The buyer, a local limited liability company, was also secured and represented by Romo, Gaviria and Sandelin. Steven D. Weinstock, broker of record in the Marcus & Millichap Illinois office, assisted in the transaction.

The restaurant is operated by Hooters Management Corp., which has more than 14 years of lease term remaining.
