Police: No injuries after shots fired near McHenry intersection

No one was injured after gunshots were fired near a heavily traveled intersection in McHenry Sunday afternoon, police said.

According to police, officers responded at about 1:25 p.m. to a report of shots fired near the intersection of Bull Valley Road and Route 31.

An investigation into the shooting is ongoing, police said.
