Roselle man faces child pornography charges

A Roselle man has been charged with two counts of child pornography.

Marshaun C. McClinton, 23, of the 1000 block of Rodenburg Road, was arrested Thursday morning at his home by DuPage County sheriff's deputies. He is held on $100,000 bail at the DuPage County jail.

The charges came from an undercover internet investigation by the sheriff's digital forensic investigation unit. McClinton's home was searched Thursday by deputies, Roselle police and the Department of Homeland Security.

According to the charges, McClinton possessed two short videos that depict a girl under the age of 13 and a man.

McClinton's next court date is Aug. 30. To be freed pretrial he would have to post $10,000 bond.
