Gail Borden Public Library's Summer Showcase to display kids' creations
Gail Borden Public Library in Elgin invites young creators, from toddlers to middle schoolers, to participate in its first Kids' Virtual Summer Showcase.
Kids submit their creations in video, audio or an image and it will be displayed on the showcase website at a kickoff party at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 11, on Facebook Live, gbpl.info/FBLV.
Submissions can include just about any type of creation including cooked or baked creations, drawings, paintings, crafts, Lego, and block-built structures, musical or dance performances, photography, science projects, special collections and written compositions.
The Summer Showcase is the place to display your child's amazing work and collections.
Submissions are accepted July 1-31. Limit 1 submission per participant.
