Vaccine clinic at July 10 youth fishing derby to include free tickets to Great America

On Saturday, July 10, the Kane County Health Department will provide COVID-19 vaccines during the Illinois Department of Natural Resources Free Youth Fishing Derby from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Jericho Lake Park, 39W365 Jericho Road in Aurora.

All youths, ages 12 to 17 receiving the Pfizer vaccine will receive two free tickets to Six Flags Great America Theme Park in Gurnee.

Minors under the age of 18 must bring a signed Pfizer consent form by their parental guardian to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.

The Kane County Health Department will have all of the COVID vaccines - Janssen, Moderna and Pfizer - available for administration.

Vaccinations are available for all persons, age 12 or older.
