What traditional events were adapted for the pandemic and how?
This year, the senior class conducted a "Decision Day March" where seniors sported their college shirts and marched down Crescent Boulevard being led by our Drumline.
What were the most significant challenges faced by the Class of 2021 and how did they overcome them?
This senior class showed an incredible amount of courage and grit as they dealt with the difficulties and uncertainties of the pandemic. All of us are super proud of them and we will never forget the class of 2021.
Principal's reflections on the Class of 2021:
At this year's graduation ceremony, I plan to talk about the incredible strength of this class and their willingness to engage in problem solving and building community. Like many schools across the country, Glenbard West struggled with the pandemic. We were lucky to have so many seniors who helped us maintain our culture of support and interpersonal connection. They will all be missed, but never forgotten.
