Waubonsee Community College offers free COVID-19 vaccine clinic June 17

Waubonsee Community College has partnered with the Kroger Family Company to provide a free COVID-19 vaccine clinic for residents, age 12 or older in the Aurora area and surrounding communities at its Aurora Downtown campus, located at 18 S. River St.

The clinic will provide the first of two Pfizer shots. It will take place on Thursday, June 17 from 3 to 7 p.m.

Pre-registration guests, as well as walk-ins, will be accepted. To register in advance, visit www.kroger.com/rx/covid-vaccine.

The vaccine is free to everyone, regardless of whether they have private or government insurance or no insurance at all. Residents are asked to bring identification but will not be turned away for not having identification. Those with insurance are asked to bring their insurance cards to the clinic.

The second Pfizer dose will be available at the same location on Thursday, July 8 from 3 to 7 p.m.
