White Sox's Engel set to begin rehab assignment with Class AAA Charlotte

When Class AAA Charlotte plays Norfolk Tuesday night, outfielder Adam Engel is expected to be in the Knights' lineup as he begins a rehab assignment.

Engel injured his right hamstring during a March 20 spring training game and has been on a long comeback trail.

"I think now it's more of getting my body to be able to move in space the way I want it to," Engel said. "I'm able to run full speed now, I've been able to run full speed for a little while now. Now it's more of like can I extend the way outfielders need to extend for balls that are a little more awkward? That's what I'm trying to gain, that stability and that strength right now."
