White Sox add Gonzalez, McRae to roster

Before playing the Tigers Tuesday night at Guaranteed Rate Field, the White Sox recalled outfielder Luis Gonzalez and relief pitcher Alex McRae from their Schaumburg training facility.

Gonzalez replaces right-handed pitcher Jonathan Stiever, who was optioned to Schaumburg following Sunday's 8-4 win over the Rangers.

The 25-year-old Gonzalez played in 3 games with the Sox last season, going 0-for-1 with a run scored.

McRae replaces Luis Robert on the 26-man roster. The 28-year-old reliever was with the White Sox for two days last week but didn't appear in a game.
