Northbrook police investigate shots fired on Willow Road

Northbrook police officials said they have one person in custody after shots were fired in a residential area early Friday morning.

Police responded to the 1100 block of Willow Road at about 2 a.m. for reports of shots being fired.

Police found several shell casings and took one person into custody, according to a Northbrook Police Department news release.

No injuries were reported. Charges have yet to be filed.

Police officials said the shooting "appears to be an isolated incident between the two parties involved."

The shooting is still under investigation.
